We hired a night nanny this autumn and it was some of the best money we have ever spent. She came to our home when my daughter was one week old, and helped us 6 nights a week for two blissful months. As a second time mom I was smart enough this time to know, that you cannot put a price on good sleep. Our nanny helped me take care of my newborn at night, which gave me enough energy to take care of my newborn AND toddler during the day.

I thought it would be weird having a stranger in our home, but after one night with our nanny I was completely at ease. She had a very calm demeanour and it was clear that she had my baby’s best interest in mind. My only regret is that I did not have the sense to book her for another month or two! My husband was especially grateful to her as he was only on the clock one night a week.

Whether you are breastfeeding or bottle feeding, a night nanny will help you take great care of your child as well as yourself. Thank you Night Nannies for helping us find such a great person! I would happily recommend Night Nannies and would be lucky to have our nanny back in the future.

Our nanny was an absolute lifesaver. We had a very unsettled, refluxy baby boy and she soothed him like absolute magic. Great night nanny Our nanny worked for us for 3 weeks as a night time maternity nurse for our 3 month old. She was very respectful and discreet, very experienced with babies and their cues and has an overall warm and caring presence. She was very proactive and always eager to help. Heather stayed with us for 4 weeks 24/6 through June 7 – July 5 2019. Our first baby girl, Palma had arrived at 35 weeks, a month earlier than expected. It was an emergency c-section so it was such a relief to have Heather staying with us as my wife Esra and I were quite exhausted and shaken from the whole experience.Our main goal was to get her to catch up so we were on a very strict feeding routine every 3 hours. Heather was very loving and caring with Palma. Even though she was bottle feeding on expressed milk, Heather helped us to stimulate her to get her used to breast feeding and eventually Palma got much better at latching on and staying on the breast on her last week.Basically we did everything with Heather and she was very hands on and involved at every stage from Palma’s first baths to her pediatrician visits. She also offered valuable advice and guidance on many aspects like sleeping routines, Palma’s sticky eye, winding, bathing, vitamins. We were also in touch with her even before Palma had arrived and she was very responsive over emails helping us with the baby’s shopping lists and getting us ready in that respect.Heather has a very warm and friendly personality. She got on very well with our housekeeper and was a pleasure to have at home. We’d highly recommend Heather as she made what at first seemed a very difficult 4 weeks a breeze for us.
