NightNannies found us a wonderful maternity nurse. We wanted someone with lots of experience with multiples and they managed to find a nanny who had looked after more than 20 sets of twins and knew how the handle the specific challenges that come with premature multiples. She joined us for three weeks in February 2023 when our twin sons were newborns. She took on night feeds so that I could get some rest after a difficult time in hospital, and then during the day really focused on getting us set up for success at home - with everything from recommending the best bottles and swaddles, to setting a routine and demonstrating different feeding, burping and soothing techniques. This was particularly important for us as we had twins and wanted to feel confident that we could cope on our own after her departure. She was a joy to have in the house and was wonderful with babies and small children (we also have a 3 year old), but also with adults. She was very respectful of our privacy in the evenings, but was also happy to chat and was great company for me during the day. She is a warm and kind person. She is also an excellent reader of babies. She knows exactly what they need, when. I felt that our boys were not only safe in her hands, but were loved and cherished. She also recognised very quickly when one of our twins was becoming unwell and pushed me to take him straight to A&E - something which saved his life. We will be forever in her debt for this. I can wholeheartedly recommend our NightNannies Nanny to any parent with multiples or a single baby. We will be asking her to come back to help with some of the twins' future transitions and look forward to having her back with our family.

Fantastic night nanny We had a night nanny from you for our newborn son from 3 weeks old from March- May 2022 and it was fantastic. She had a calming effect on our son when he was upset or screaming and our son was always happy to see her . I was a first time mum and she was very knowledgable about looking after young babies which was so useful . She was always punctual and reliable . She is a kind and lovely person and I could always trust her with our baby . I highly recommend her and hope to have her back in the future .

I contacted Night Nannies recently when… I contacted Night Nannies recently when my daughter needed overnight help at short notice. My son in law was away unexpected, and she was trying to cope with two badly sleeping children on her own. I spoke to Sally, the local area administrator, at once (so much easier than filling in a form and waiting for some-one to call you back) who was understanding, sympathetic and extremely helpful. I had the references of an excellent sounding Nanny within an hour, and the nanny (whom my daughter said was lovely) started work three days later. The whole business was amazingly easy, and an outstanding success.

I would use them again without hesitation.

We've had an excellent experience using Night Nannies. They quickly provided us with three highly relevant profiles for our specific needs - newborn twins! We interviewed two of them who both seemed excellent and within a week we had booked a night nanny. Our night nanny was just superb, she immediately put us at ease, took great care of our twins and allowed us to get some much needed sleep! We thought we'd use her for 2 weeks but it ended up being 2 months. I would highly recommend using Night Nannies if you want to find the best nanny for what you're looking for.

Sanyu has been absolutely fantastic. After quite a difficult postnatal operation, we needed a bit of help for a few days so I could recover but we ended up asking Sanyu to stay for three weeks and would have loved to do more! Despite thinking I was super organised, there were so many things that I didn't know and didn't have. Sanyu completely sorted me out in a very gentle way by advising on various things I needed and how to use them. She was also really helpful with advising me on issues I was having with breastfeeding as well as understanding routines. >> >> Sanyu is a natural with babies and has a lovely energy. Agency review We have used the Night Nannies agency twice following the birth of our second and third sons. Both times they’ve supplied us with great night nannies, including extra cover when inevitably we decided we wanted support for longer than we had originally planned! One lady in particular helped us tremendously with our middle son - pointing us in the right direction to have him diagnose with a milk intolerance. Without her I can’t see that we would have got the medical help that eventually transformed him into a much happier baby! She returned to us with our third son when he was ten weeks old, feeding a couple of times a night with sleep stretches seeming to becoming shorter rather than longer. She immediately had us working towards 1 feed a night - giving us the confidence and techniques to wind him properly and to settle him without feeding. Totally transformative! With the right night nanny it’s possible to get not just some overnight rest but also sleep consultant type services thrown in.
