We had her come two nights a week for 6 weeks since coming home from hospital, and she was such a wonderful help and guide as we navigated first-time parenthood. Our Nanny was clearly very experienced. She immediately bonded with Eddie and treated him with such warmth and affection. Our Nanny taught us a lot about baby care, from helping diaper time to be less tearful to speech and learning development. We are grateful for the time our family had with her.”

We had a fantastic experience with Night Nannies. We used the service from the time our second son was 6 weeks old. Our nanny had more knowledge about newborns than anyone we have come across in the childcare profession providing us the comfort to get a good night sleep. She gave us invaluable advice that helped to improve our son's sleep and establish a schedule that worked for our family, and was even a hit with our 2 year old who loved running to see her in the mornings. Our night nanny came to us when our baby was 4 weeks old and was with us for three nights a week for 6 weeks, followed by a few weeks of two nights as my husband‘a work became very demanding. From the outset she was incredibly warm and immediately formed a bond with the baby. From her first week with us she was able to put the baby into a regular sleeping and feeding pattern overnight, which was a huge help for the nights when we were alone. We have as a result been able to get to a point at three months where he sleeps well and is only waking once a night to feed.

In addition to her skills with the baby, our nanny clearly cares very deeply about everyone she works with and has been an invaluable sounding board for me when I have any questions about day or night routines, colds, niggles or advice about how to work towards sleeping through the night and onwards. There is no doubt that I am a calmer mother as a result of having had her helping me (not only because I am better rested).

On one occasion, she knew tom had a bad cold and she contacted me to see if she could help by doing an extra night for which I was incredibly grateful. We cannot recommend night nannies highly enough. Our night nurse came to us when our little boy was 10 days old and, whilst we were pretty nervous at the thought of handing him over on that first night, we were put at ease as soon as she arrived. Her experience shone through and we knew instantly that he was in very good hands. She was able to understand what he needed at all times and he was so happy in her care. She was able to guide us with regards to a routine, we were able to consult her whenever we had any questions and she also helped us diagnose a tongue tie and an intolerance.

Not only did our Night Nanny ensure that my husband and I had a blissful, uninterrupted night’s sleep but I was also so impressed by her wealth of knowledge and truly touched by the depth of care she showed towards my daughter - and, actually, to me and my own welfare.I have since told all my friends due to give birth that using Night Nannies is an absolute must. I highly recommend the services of Night Nannies. Out of desperation one Friday night, I contacted 4 night nanny agencies via their websites. Night Nannies was the only one to respond by Saturday morning (only one more responded by Monday morning, and one responded a whole week later). Night Nannies gave us 2 CVs of highly experienced nannies to review. We interviewed and selected one, who turned out to be excellent. Not only was she skilled at caring for infants, she was warm and kind, and we felt that she genuinely cared about and took delight in our baby. By putting our trust in her and Night Nannies, we were rewarded with excellent care for the baby and several nights of badly-needed sleep for the parents.

She provided thoughtful, compassionate, expert care. She was also a pleasure to have around the house, with zero fuss and zero mess. If ever needed again, we'd call her immediately.
