Our nanny, used for two nights, was so lovely. She had a really calming presence, and was so tender with my baby. She helped us during the heatwave, and was very gracious about staying in our living room which was cooler than our nursery upstairs. She was happy to answer any questions I had, and to keep track of feeding timings and amounts. I would absolutely work with her again!

I contacted Night Nannies recently when… I contacted Night Nannies recently when my daughter needed overnight help at short notice. My son in law was away unexpected, and she was trying to cope with two badly sleeping children on her own. I spoke to Sally, the local area administrator, at once (so much easier than filling in a form and waiting for some-one to call you back) who was understanding, sympathetic and extremely helpful. I had the references of an excellent sounding Nanny within an hour, and the nanny (whom my daughter said was lovely) started work three days later. The whole business was amazingly easy, and an outstanding success.

I would use them again without hesitation.

I just wanted to write to let you know how helpful Sanyu was for us over the last fortnight. She was an utter blessing. Sanyu has a lovely calm, gentle and polite manner about her and it is clear that she loves babies and is very natural with them. She was very punctual and helpful and went out of her way to help me get some things when I ran out and hadnt been organised to get them (nappies, formula) which she didnt need to do but which was hugely appreciated. Sanyu gave me more sleep at a time I really needed it and even my sceptical husband was won over and gratefully welcomed those extra hours. She was careful to ask what routine and also offered very useful advice when i asked for it. Sanyu also was very sweet with our daughter in the mornings. In short, we would wholeheartedly recommend Sanyu to anyone else looking for a little relief and assistance at night!

Really pleased with the service from Night nannies - within a very short time period we were sent an excellent shortlist of potential night nannies and we are so pleased with our choice. I can’t recommend our nanny highly enough - she supported us as our night nanny for 6 weeks, arriving the night we got back from the hospital. Specially in those first few weeks of newborn madness it was such a welcome sight seeing her come through the door at 9pm and rescue us again and again! She is always cheerful, reliable, flexible, punctual, as well as full of advice and most importantly, she was absolutely wonderful and loving with our baby. Highly recommend!

The night nanny that Night Nannies sent was our night nanny from the night we took our son home from the hospital until he was 8 weeks old. We cannot recommend her more highly. Every night, she arrived at 9pm like a beam of sunshine. Not only was she incredibly competent at taking care of our baby, but she also could take an incredibly stressful day and turn it around within 5 minutes. Every evening, we would talk through the day and discuss ways we could make the next day easier. She taught us an incredible amount about how to take care of our son, and I strongly believe that having her there was the difference between barely functioning and actively enjoying those incredibly challenging first weeks. We felt completely confident leaving our baby in her hands, and came to look forward to our evening chats with her. She felt like family from the moment she walked in the door. In addition to caring for our baby, she cleaned and sterilised all of the baby bottles and breast pump parts If we are blessed with a second child, the first thing we'll do when we find out is to book her as our night nanny We cannot recommend her highly enough

She is very calm as well which is very important dealing with a newborn and first time parents. She is confident, has knowledge and establish a beautiful connection with the baby. As new parents of week-old twins, I have to admit we were very apprehensive about leaving our little ones alone with anyone for the first time (they had been in our constant care in the hospital and at home since they were born). We could not have found anyone better for the job than our Night Nanny. Upon (quietly) walking through the door, she immediately engendered our trust and confidence by orienting herself quickly and efficiently in our home, identifying everything she needed to care for the children with the precision and calm of an individual who has the confidence and experience to look after newborns. We took note when she turned off the television and lowered the lighting so she could focus on our little girls. She was cheerful and very warm with our children and created a relaxing environment for them (and us), ensuring we were able to go to dinner in peace and get our first night of “real” sleep after the hospital stay. She recorded feeds and nappy changes in accordance with the precedent we had established and managed to set new feeding records for them overnight, all the while maximizing their sleep time. She even offered us some tips for settling them, which proved helpful as my wife and I are both learning the tricks of the trade at this stage.We would certainly seek Night Nannies out in the future whenever we need care for the twins – the peace of mind they provide has been invaluable during the first days of our early parenthood.
