We hired a night nanny this autumn and it was some of the best money we have ever spent. She came to our home when my daughter was one week old, and helped us 6 nights a week for two blissful months. As a second time mom I was smart enough this time to know, that you cannot put a price on good sleep. Our nanny helped me take care of my newborn at night, which gave me enough energy to take care of my newborn AND toddler during the day.I thought it would be weird having a stranger in our home, but after one night with our nanny I was completely at ease. She had a very calm demeanour and it was clear that she had my baby’s best interest in mind. My only regret is that I did not have the sense to book her for another month or two! My husband was especially grateful to her as he was only on the clock one night a week.Whether you are breastfeeding or bottle feeding, a night nanny will help you take great care of your child as well as yourself. Thank you Night Nannies for helping us find such a great person! I would happily recommend Night Nannies and would be lucky to have our nanny back in the future.

Excellent and quick service, trustworthy I called Sally (London & South East) on Friday 4th December as well as other "elite" home service professional agencies. It was like talking to a well trusted contact from the off, she listened to what I needed and came back to me within hours with a recommended night nanny. Sally was compassionate and professional in all respects. She explained the contract, costs and covid procedures really well. She prioritises a well matched job, over quantity. I called the references of her recommendation that day and interviewed the night nanny Saturday morning. She started on Monday 7th! This hugely exceeded my expectations. Sally is clear well connected and trusted by her nannies. In the time it took her to find someone, I was still waiting for call backs from bigger agencies which were having their weekly meetings when I called them Friday morning. Sally was prompt with invoicing and is always available for contact. I wouldn't recommend anyone else for finding a night nanny now.

From the first night she joined us, when our baby was just 3 days old, she really helped us to build confidence, and get a lot more sleep in the early weeks. In addition to being a very experienced nanny, she’s also a ray of sunshine, and we genuinely loved having her in our home. Our night nanny went above and beyond just being a night nanny - she gave me help and support with breastfeeding when I was struggling, and lots of other tips & advice. She arrived at our house that evening and with a few questions, assessed the situation and simply took control. Such is her experience with managing newborn babies. When the night nanny came to our family we were in a desperate state. I was half crazed with sleep deprivation and my 6 month old was stuck in an overtired cycle of short naps and disrupted nights that we couldn’t get out of. I can’t believe that was just one week ago. Last night he slept 12 hours for the first time in his life, with just one feed. He’ll likely drop that soon as we further establish solids. And he now consistently gets proper naps as he has learned to connect sleep cycles. Gone are the hours of feeding and bouncing him to sleep. I now put him in his crib awake and he happily drifts off. The change is near miraculous.Our nanny was so knowledgeable and reassuring and lovely with the baby and with all of us. I needed a lot of support and hand holding and she helped me to keep the consistency that my baby needed. I wasn’t really sure about the process and I needed her professionalism and conviction to help me through it. I am gaining confidence but grateful to have her on text for reassurance and troubleshooting for two weeks. She wants to make sure he has really settled into his new routine before she leaves us.It is no exaggeration to say that she has restored happiness to this household. I fear I would have missed enjoying precious months of my baby’s development because I was so desperately exhausted and anxious. I already feel lighter and so excited again to be a mother. Thank you so so so much.

Friendly former hospital nurse & night nanny Our nanny through Night Nannies has a warm & friendly demeanor and was very easy to welcome into our home. She provided night nanny services for our 4 month old 6 nights a week for several weeks while our regular night nanny (also through your agency) took time off for a family emergency.

Our son really enjoyed her care and attention. Her time spent as a hospital nurse was particularly reassuring to me as a first-time mum. In the mornings I could often hear her interacting playfully with our son - his laughter and squeals of delight showed me straight away that this nanny was a good fit for us. I also really liked her punctuality and her flexibility with coming in an hour or two early if needed. She always left everything very clean and supported me on my breastfeeding journey as well. We hope to work with her again in future.

Fantastic night nanny We had a night nanny from you for our newborn son from 3 weeks old from March- May 2022 and it was fantastic. She had a calming effect on our son when he was upset or screaming and our son was always happy to see her . I was a first time mum and she was very knowledgable about looking after young babies which was so useful . She was always punctual and reliable . She is a kind and lovely person and I could always trust her with our baby . I highly recommend her and hope to have her back in the future .

We had an excellent experience with the maternity nurse we found through night nannies. She worked with us in June and July 2019, starting when our son was 3 weeks old. We had planned to start with her a week after his expected due date but he was born 3 weeks earlier than expected and she was working with another family at the time. Nonetheless, she was able to make herself available to help us whenever she had free time on days off, and before that was always available for a call and on WhatsApp from as soon as we agreed to work together earlier in my pregnancy. She answered any questions we had about preparing for the baby, and gave great advice on what to buy and what was not essential at the time. She also helped us find the best deals and offers around. This was extremely helpful for us because we felt overwhelmed with preparations, especially when we knew he would arrive early, and were exhausted in the early days after the delivery. I don’t know what we would have done without her support and guidance in those early days.

When she started full time with us she immediately brought structure and order. She advised us on how to better set up our son’s things, and gave us tons of other tips and tricks for managing everyday life with a baby. She was with us for events we were nervous about like his first bath, and came to hospital with us when he had to do a small surgical procedure. Having her with us in hospital was so comforting; she was supportive and reassuring, and kept us calm. She also spotted other issues early on, such as a thrush infection he had just as it was starting to appear, and always knew exactly what to do. If it were not for her his infection could gotten much worse.

She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had about caring for a newborn. She also introduced a routine early on which was essential in helping us get things on track and explained the idea behind the routine so we were able to adjust where necessary. We learned so much from her that we became so much more confident and comfortable.

Breastfeeding was not easy for me and there were several points at which I felt I could not continue. Having her around helped in this challenging time. She helped me find the most comfortable positions for feeding and identify the reason for some issues we were having, such as incorrect latch.

As a person, she is very considerate, calm, cheerful, positive and helpful. She is flexible and always trying to make things easier for us. My husband and I really enjoyed having her around. She was also easy to live with and very tidy.

Most importantly, she was amazing with our baby. She was loving and warm, and had a great way with him; he absolutely loved her! We felt extremely confident in her ability to take care of him and comfortable leaving him alone with her from day 1. She still asks about him frequently and is always happy to answer any questions we have as he grows.

Thanks to her, our first few weeks as parents were relaxed and enjoyable, and I would highly recommend her to any new parent.

Someone responded very quickly to my request which was much appreciated when looking for someone with short notice. The team found a number of suitable candidates very quickly and all of which had been vetted thoroughly. Would definitely recommend the agency and use again if needed!
