Vera came to us for two nights when our little girl had just turned 8 months old and had been going through a rough few weeks of sleep. Try as we might my husband and I couldn’t get to the bottom of what was going wrong - she had been a good sleeper from 5 to 7 months and then almost overnight she started to refuse to go down for her daytime naps and started waking and crying every ten to twenty minutes after we had put her down at 7pm, eventually settling at about 11pm. It felt like we were back with a new-born. I was lost without our routine and felt like our baby was asking for something different - but I didn’t know what! And then Vera arrived… and she was amazing! I was initially a little apprehensive about some of the suggestions Vera made but quickly realised that if I wasn’t committed to her advice then I would never know if it would work. Needless to say after following her suggested daytime routine within one night our daughter had dropped her dream feed, within two nights she slept soundly from 7pm to 6.30am, and by day three she was starting to self settle for her daytime naps. What a dramatic change in such a short space of time!Vera helped me to understand that our daughter no longer needed so much sleep during the day and so we cut down her day time naps, we have been giving her more water to quench her thirst and cutting down on her bottle feeds so that she is hungrier at mealtimes. Vera encouraged me to stay strong and remember that our daughter would be much more settled when I was clear with her about when she was going to sleep, when she was eating etc and making sure to stick with the routine for at least a couple of weeks until it had become second nature to our baby. We are just a week in but there is a great difference already to our family dynamic and my confidence as a Mum has returned.I would highly recommend Vera if you need any help with your baby’s sleep. She has a plethora of knowledge, is passionate about her work and looked after us and our baby incredibly well. She is a rare find!

Super nanny review We were very happy with our sleep nanny. She spent two days with us and our son and helped us establish a daily routine. She gave us a schedule that we’ve been following and it proved very helpful with the sleep training. We couldn’t believe that our son was sleeping a full nap on the first day of sleep training. She gave some very good tips on how to continue with the sleep daytime routine as well as with the night time routine. Few days after her visit our son showed significant improvement in his sleep routine and was self-settling when put down to sleep. She was kind enough to answer questions over chat and phone call after the visit. I would certainly recommend her services!

We had an excellent experience with the maternity nurse we found through night nannies. She worked with us in June and July 2019, starting when our son was 3 weeks old. We had planned to start with her a week after his expected due date but he was born 3 weeks earlier than expected and she was working with another family at the time. Nonetheless, she was able to make herself available to help us whenever she had free time on days off, and before that was always available for a call and on WhatsApp from as soon as we agreed to work together earlier in my pregnancy. She answered any questions we had about preparing for the baby, and gave great advice on what to buy and what was not essential at the time. She also helped us find the best deals and offers around. This was extremely helpful for us because we felt overwhelmed with preparations, especially when we knew he would arrive early, and were exhausted in the early days after the delivery. I don’t know what we would have done without her support and guidance in those early days.

When she started full time with us she immediately brought structure and order. She advised us on how to better set up our son’s things, and gave us tons of other tips and tricks for managing everyday life with a baby. She was with us for events we were nervous about like his first bath, and came to hospital with us when he had to do a small surgical procedure. Having her with us in hospital was so comforting; she was supportive and reassuring, and kept us calm. She also spotted other issues early on, such as a thrush infection he had just as it was starting to appear, and always knew exactly what to do. If it were not for her his infection could gotten much worse.

She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had about caring for a newborn. She also introduced a routine early on which was essential in helping us get things on track and explained the idea behind the routine so we were able to adjust where necessary. We learned so much from her that we became so much more confident and comfortable.

Breastfeeding was not easy for me and there were several points at which I felt I could not continue. Having her around helped in this challenging time. She helped me find the most comfortable positions for feeding and identify the reason for some issues we were having, such as incorrect latch.

As a person, she is very considerate, calm, cheerful, positive and helpful. She is flexible and always trying to make things easier for us. My husband and I really enjoyed having her around. She was also easy to live with and very tidy.

Most importantly, she was amazing with our baby. She was loving and warm, and had a great way with him; he absolutely loved her! We felt extremely confident in her ability to take care of him and comfortable leaving him alone with her from day 1. She still asks about him frequently and is always happy to answer any questions we have as he grows.

Thanks to her, our first few weeks as parents were relaxed and enjoyable, and I would highly recommend her to any new parent.

The night nanny that Night Nannies sent was our night nanny from the night we took our son home from the hospital until he was 8 weeks old. We cannot recommend her more highly. Every night, she arrived at 9pm like a beam of sunshine. Not only was she incredibly competent at taking care of our baby, but she also could take an incredibly stressful day and turn it around within 5 minutes. Every evening, we would talk through the day and discuss ways we could make the next day easier. She taught us an incredible amount about how to take care of our son, and I strongly believe that having her there was the difference between barely functioning and actively enjoying those incredibly challenging first weeks. We felt completely confident leaving our baby in her hands, and came to look forward to our evening chats with her. She felt like family from the moment she walked in the door. In addition to caring for our baby, she cleaned and sterilised all of the baby bottles and breast pump parts If we are blessed with a second child, the first thing we'll do when we find out is to book her as our night nanny We cannot recommend her highly enough

My son was suffering from allergies, reflux and sleeping issues at 2months old and after 10 weeks our night nanny will be leaving us with a chubby, happy healthy little boy who sleeps and eats well. My 4 year old daughter is so fond of her too and has so enjoyed having her with us. I wish every mother could be lucky enough to have her in their life.
