We had a night nannies maternity nurse for four weeks from 29 April to 30 June 2022. She helped us with our second son and arrived with us the day I was discharged from hospital after a planned c-section. She is such a calming presence, so patient and incredibly hard working. She always has a smile on her face and we have been so lucky to have her as part of our family. Our two-year old adored her and she made the first few weeks as a family of four really enjoyable. She would give my husband and I some time alone together after our toddler went to bed but was always on hand to help when we needed it.She is always on time and is incredibly tidy - she would refuse to have her dinner until all the bottles were sterilised! She kindly had sole charge of our baby when we attended a christening and came with us to a family wedding where she expertly packed everything our baby needed and looked after him so well in a very busy house hosting the wedding.I cannot recommend our maternity nurse enough - I wish she could stay with us forever and any family would be very lucky to have her help and expertise.

An excellent agency! Having struggled with a couple of unpleasant and untrustworthy maternity nurses, I was given Julie's (of Night Nannies) number.
To my amazement she had filled the role in less than twelve hours. It soon became clear that finally, we had secured a trustworthy, loyal and sincere nurse for a newborn baby.
Julie provided a truly excellent service and more importantly a truly excellent nurse!

We had our maternity nurse for three weeks after the birth of our newborn son. She was an absolute joy to have in our home and filled my husband and I with the confidence we needed to look after our son. I came home from hospital after a traumatic birth, followed by an extended stay, absolutely exhausted. Our maternity nurse got me back on my feet by making sure I got plenty of rest so that I could feel human again. She helped me with breastfeeding and got our son into a good sleeping and feeding routine by the time he reached 3 weeks. She also gave us tips as to how to adapt the routine as our son gets older. She is a tech wizard and set up all our baby equipment, including the steriliser and breast pump!Our maternity nurse took the greatest care to follow the Government’s guidance on Covid-19; she self-isolated before she came to us. She followed our lead and wore a face mask and gloves when she went to the shops and self-isolated on her days off. She was very responsible with making sure that our house was hygienic and ensured that we felt totally comfortable welcoming her to our home.We could not have managed to get through the first three weeks of our son's life without our maternity nurse and we will look back at what could have been a difficult time as a joyful one, filled with learning and fun thanks to her great sense of humour and unflappable nature. We cannot recommend Night Nannies highly enough.

Our night nurse has been absolutely… Our night nurse has been absolutely amazing with our new born and she started when she was 2 days old. She is a real teacher and trainer and brought a lot of peace to her but also to the rest of the family. She has so many techniques and adapts herself very quickly.
Will reemploy her again if we have another baby.

Not only did our Night Nanny ensure that my husband and I had a blissful, uninterrupted night’s sleep but I was also so impressed by her wealth of knowledge and truly touched by the depth of care she showed towards my daughter - and, actually, to me and my own welfare.I have since told all my friends due to give birth that using Night Nannies is an absolute must. Genuine advice to clients Contacted nightnannies needing a night nanny help for one for our 8 months old daughter who was waking up every two hours, and we just need a break for a week. They recommended against using a nightnanny at this age and instead try to establish a better routine. Indeed trying harder to have a routine with her helped us and the baby so much and let her have full night sleeps. They basically lost a potential client and revenues and have advice tailored to the situation. If we have another kid we will def come earlier for support if we need. Thank you.

Miraculous When our night nanny came to our family we were in a desperate state. I was half crazed with sleep deprivation and my 6 month old was stuck in an overtired cycle of short naps and disrupted nights that we couldn’t get out of. I can’t believe that was just one week ago. Last night he slept 12 hours for the first time in his life, with just one feed. He’ll likely drop that soon as we further establish solids. And he now consistently gets proper naps as he has learned to connect sleep cycles. Gone are the hours of feeding and bouncing him to sleep. I now put him in his crib awake and he happily drifts off. The change is near miraculous.

Our nanny was so knowledgeable and reassuring and lovely with the baby and with all of us. I needed a lot of support and hand holding and she helped me to keep the consistency that my baby needed. I wasn’t really sure about the process and I needed her professionalism and conviction to help me through it. I am gaining confidence but grateful to have her on text for reassurance and troubleshooting for two weeks. She wants to make sure he has really settled into his new routine before she leaves us.

It is no exaggeration to say that she has restored happiness to this household. I fear I would have missed enjoying precious months of my baby’s development because I was so desperately exhausted and anxious. I already feel lighter and so excited again to be a mother. Thank you so so so much.
