We had our maternity nurse for three weeks after the birth of our newborn son. She was an absolute joy to have in our home and filled my husband and I with the confidence we needed to look after our son. I came home from hospital after a traumatic birth, followed by an extended stay, absolutely exhausted. Our maternity nurse got me back on my feet by making sure I got plenty of rest so that I could feel human again. She helped me with breastfeeding and got our son into a good sleeping and feeding routine by the time he reached 3 weeks. She also gave us tips as to how to adapt the routine as our son gets older. She is a tech wizard and set up all our baby equipment, including the steriliser and breast pump!

Our maternity nurse took the greatest care to follow the Government’s guidance on Covid-19; she self-isolated before she came to us. She followed our lead and wore a face mask and gloves when she went to the shops and self-isolated on her days off. She was very responsible with making sure that our house was hygienic and ensured that we felt totally comfortable welcoming her to our home.

We could not have managed to get through the first three weeks of our son's life without our maternity nurse and we will look back at what could have been a difficult time as a joyful one, filled with learning and fun thanks to her great sense of humour and unflappable nature. We cannot recommend Night Nannies highly enough.

Our Supernanny was absolutely brilliant and we would highly recommend her. She is very calm, gentle and kind and clearly highly experienced with babies. She came to us for four days to help us establish a better routine for our 4 month old who would only take 25 minute naps and woke hourly all night long. She had lots of great advice and ideas about how to improve this and implemented a new routine which is working really well for us. Our baby is now napping for up to an hour at a time and going much longer stretches at night and it is continuing to improve day by day as we follow the new routine.

I had been recommended NightNannies.com by two separate friends, both of whom found almost immediate improvement in their babies sleep after implementing the learnings of their specialist. My 9-month-old son was still having a dream feed, and then waking up anywhere between 2am – 5am. If he woke at 5, he thought that was the start of his day, and he was completely dependent on his dummy. As I was returning to work – and was shattered! – I thought I would invest in some help and support.Our NightNannies.com representative was Tina – she contacted me in advance of coming over and found out what our issues were, and we discussed a variety of strategies that could help. One of the tips Tina recommended had an immediate impact improving my son’s sleep even before she came over, which was fantastic.Tina was with us for two nights. The first night she arrived, met my son and we again discussed and agreed the strategy for the night ahead – cold turkey on both the dream feed and the dummy! Not long after my son went to bed, Tina settled into her room for the night. By the end of the second night my son was able to go to sleep without his dummy and stay asleep throughout the night. We are now regularly getting sleep 7pm – 7am!Tina has been in constant touch after visiting to ensure things are still going well and has been a fantastic source of support and knowledge if I have had any questions.Overall, I would absolutely recommend using NightNannies.co.uk in general, and Tina in particular. We contacted the agency because our seven month old baby girl did not nap during the day. Before supernanny came, the baby was a good sleeper at night, but refused to sleep during the day and we had to go outside and walk her in the pram every time we wanted to her to nap. We knew that wasn't the right way, but we had tried a few times to put her in the crib and she would cry for over an hour till we picked her up again. When supernanny came and observed our daily routine with baby she quickly suggested us to change a few things, starting with the time baby woke up in the morning as well as the feeding schedule. Supernanny explained to us that a baby her age had to nap twice a day for total of 3h (before did nap only in the pram for about 2h total a day) and go to bed at night no later than 7.30pm (before we would put her to sleep at 9.30pm till 8am the next day).Supernanny stayed with us for four days and started to change things at the first day. Of course, baby refused to nap during the day during the first days but she cried no more than 25minutes the first day and it was less and less the days after. Two weeks later, I can finally say that baby no longer cries when we put her in the crib for napping during the day and it is PRICELESS. I was sceptical at first of all changes that Supernanny was implementing but we decided to give it a chance and now I'm finally convinced. Called this agency has been such a good investment and now we feel confident of what we have to do to make baby feel better and rested.In addition to the sleeping issues, supernanny made us understand that we had to change a few things in baby's feeding schedule so sleeping routine could work, which we did.I am also grateful for how supernanny showed us how to get rid of the dummy. I have to say that looking back now, we were probably using it too much, specifically to calm baby down (I think this also had to do with baby not sleeping properly so was more fussy all the time). Amazing night nanny Our night nanny was absolutely incredible. We quite possibly could not have got though those first few months without her. She is the most calm, kind and reassuring presence to have around. We trusted her implicitly and out daughter adored her from the first day they met. She would come in at 9pm like an oasis of calm and it meant I could relax and get some sleep for those blissful hours we had her. Those early weeks of motherhood are so hard but she made them feel so much easier to have her supporting us though them. They are also full of so much unsolicited advice which she never ever did. She would be a fountain of amazing knowledge and experience if you asked her but would also empower and reassure you to make decisions and suggest how you might want to do things. We couldn’t recommend her more highly. I only wish she never had to leave!
