  • Given our daughter was born premature, we were looking for a night maternity nurse knowing how critical yet difficult the feeding was likely to be. After interviewing a few candidates we decided to go with one of your nannies. It can be difficult to make a decision on the basis of a relatively short meeting, but thankfully we made the right choice – she has been amazing.
    Our nanny initially spent a week with us as a day nurse the very first week we were back from hospital. She truly was a life-saver since we had no idea how challenging it would be with a premature baby, when we were effectively having to re-learn the basics of feeding, changing, etc. from scratch. She went on a mission to ensure that she was feeding well and putting on weight as desired. I’ve never seen anyone get quite so excited when our daughter met her target weight during her check-up with the health visitor! She also provided a lot of reassurance and stability to our home – much needed in those early days.
    A few weeks later our nanny returned to help us with the nights. Thankfully she was already familiar with our daughter and was able to completely put us at ease, ensuring that we were able to get a few hours of much needed sleep! Perhaps most importantly, she developed an immediate and special bond with our daughter. In addition she is a pleasure to be around and we had a lot of laughs. She was also able to provide some useful tips/advice for our 20 month old, who can be quite a handful at times!
    In sum she is a great maternity nurse and we have no reservation in recommending her – any family would be fortunate to be able to secure her for a position.

  • Amazing service through Night Nannies- head and shoulders the best agency I dealt with and Anastasia and Julie are lovely people. I was looking for a maternity nurse at short notice and they answered phone immediately and sent through some great options same day. Most of all I was impressed with how they handled a situation which didn't work out- the first nanny was a bit lazy and I gave this feedback. Night Nannies were absolutely brilliant and concerned for my experience and offered an incredible replacement. I now have someone totally fabulous who I, my dog and my one month old baby adore. I'm able to enjoy the experience of a newborn and get some rest- thanks so much Night Nannies xx

  • We have (sadly) come to the end of our six weeks with Jackie Olara and wanted to let you know how utterly blown away we were by her. She is without a doubt one of the most professional, calming, funny and warm characters you can possibly hope to have around in the first few nights back from the hospital. She has implemented an outstanding routine which has been so effective in managing our son’s sleep and development. Her knowledge on what we should be doing and when was beyond extensive and there is no way I could be writing this email if and sitting on my laptop at 10.00pm at night if it wasn’t for the confidence she had given Jess in putting together the routine. You will without a doubt be getting a call from me about her when it’s time for our second and if anyone ever wants to contact me about her I’d be more than happy to chat through our brilliant experience.   • Fantastic night nanny We had a night nanny from you for our newborn son from 3 weeks old from March- May 2022 and it was fantastic. She had a calming effect on our son when he was upset or screaming and our son was always happy to see her . I was a first time mum and she was very knowledgable about looking after young babies which was so useful . She was always punctual and reliable . She is a kind and lovely person and I could always trust her with our baby . I highly recommend her and hope to have her back in the future .

  • Everyone needs a Mel when they have a new baby! From the moment Mel arrived she put our mind at ease that our little one would be in safe hands. She has a fountain of knowledge and experience. She helped us with a colic and reflux baby and also helped us get rid of the dummy. Our little one was not a good sleeper at first, but with Mels advice (which she’s happy to give or not give, depending on what you’re after) by 3 months she was sleeping through intermittently and by 4 months consistently! Mel is always punctual and flexible with timings and on the odd occasion she came earlier so we could have the evening off. I was sad to say goodbye to Mel and she will always be a blessing in our lives!

  • I contacted Night Nannies recently when… I contacted Night Nannies recently when my daughter needed overnight help at short notice. My son in law was away unexpected, and she was trying to cope with two badly sleeping children on her own. I spoke to Sally, the local area administrator, at once (so much easier than filling in a form and waiting for some-one to call you back) who was understanding, sympathetic and extremely helpful. I had the references of an excellent sounding Nanny within an hour, and the nanny (whom my daughter said was lovely) started work three days later. The whole business was amazingly easy, and an outstanding success.

    I would use them again without hesitation.
