Amazing night nanny Our night nanny was absolutely incredible. We quite possibly could not have got though those first few months without her. She is the most calm, kind and reassuring presence to have around. We trusted her implicitly and out daughter adored her from the first day they met. She would come in at 9pm like an oasis of calm and it meant I could relax and get some sleep for those blissful hours we had her. Those early weeks of motherhood are so hard but she made them feel so much easier to have her supporting us though them. They are also full of so much unsolicited advice which she never ever did. She would be a fountain of amazing knowledge and experience if you asked her but would also empower and reassure you to make decisions and suggest how you might want to do things. We couldn’t recommend her more highly. I only wish she never had to leave!

As new parents of week-old twins, I have to admit we were very apprehensive about leaving our little ones alone with anyone for the first time (they had been in our constant care in the hospital and at home since they were born). We could not have found anyone better for the job than our Night Nanny. Upon (quietly) walking through the door, she immediately engendered our trust and confidence by orienting herself quickly and efficiently in our home, identifying everything she needed to care for the children with the precision and calm of an individual who has the confidence and experience to look after newborns. We took note when she turned off the television and lowered the lighting so she could focus on our little girls. She was cheerful and very warm with our children and created a relaxing environment for them (and us), ensuring we were able to go to dinner in peace and get our first night of “real” sleep after the hospital stay. She recorded feeds and nappy changes in accordance with the precedent we had established and managed to set new feeding records for them overnight, all the while maximizing their sleep time. She even offered us some tips for settling them, which proved helpful as my wife and I are both learning the tricks of the trade at this stage.We would certainly seek Night Nannies out in the future whenever we need care for the twins – the peace of mind they provide has been invaluable during the first days of our early parenthood.

Vera was amazing! She spent a night with us as a night nanny to help settle our three week old son, She did a fantastic job calming him down and getting him to sleep, and she also did a great job calming my anxiety and giving me some great advice, which was greatly needed and appreciated. I contacted Night Nannies recently when… I contacted Night Nannies recently when my daughter needed overnight help at short notice. My son in law was away unexpected, and she was trying to cope with two badly sleeping children on her own. I spoke to Sally, the local area administrator, at once (so much easier than filling in a form and waiting for some-one to call you back) who was understanding, sympathetic and extremely helpful. I had the references of an excellent sounding Nanny within an hour, and the nanny (whom my daughter said was lovely) started work three days later. The whole business was amazingly easy, and an outstanding success.

I would use them again without hesitation.

Sleep training was a really big decision for us. There's a lot of noise about it on Facebook and such, so we were really scared about the process. Margarita was warm, clear and firm - which seems to be the ideal combination in a sleep trainer. Our 7 month old has turned the corner as regards sleep, but is still a very happy, smiley baby.

Great Service! Sally - our local rep for East Sussex - was very responsive, following up immediately and finding us someone local. Her recommendation ended up being perfect for us.
