  • Amazing night nanny Our night nanny was absolutely incredible. We quite possibly could not have got though those first few months without her. She is the most calm, kind and reassuring presence to have around. We trusted her implicitly and out daughter adored her from the first day they met. She would come in at 9pm like an oasis of calm and it meant I could relax and get some sleep for those blissful hours we had her. Those early weeks of motherhood are so hard but she made them feel so much easier to have her supporting us though them. They are also full of so much unsolicited advice which she never ever did. She would be a fountain of amazing knowledge and experience if you asked her but would also empower and reassure you to make decisions and suggest how you might want to do things. We couldn’t recommend her more highly. I only wish she never had to leave!

  • The nanny who worked with us is absolutely wonderful. She really cares about the babies and loves what she does. She is very calm as well which is very important dealing with a newborn and first time parents. She is confident, has knowledge and establish a beautiful connection with the baby. We loved the fact that she talks to the baby very often and properly interacts during the whole day.

  • We've had 4-5 different night nannies who have helped at different times looking after my two daughters, from when they were 2 days old to a few months old. Night Nannies have been able to provide both regular support over a period of weeks, and also ad hoc cover on short notice. All the nannies we have met have been wonderful -experienced, gentle, and extremely professional, and have not only looked after our daughters, giving us some much needed sleep, but also shared lots of tips with us particularly when we were first time parents. I would fully recommend the agency to others.

  • Ritah has looked after our newborn son from when he was two days until 3 months old. Ritah was great to work with. She is confident, calm and was lovely and affectionate towards our son. Ritah is professional, proactive with a great attitude, and she very clearly enjoys working with babies. My husband and I found her experience with newborns reassuring and often asked her for advise on feeding, sleeping routines and minor health issues. We can highly recommend her to any family who are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and friendly night nanny for their newborn. We will miss Ritah as she helped us immensely through the first crazy weeks of parenthood.

  • We would certainly recommend to anyone who is struggling with their babies sleep or feeding habits.Prior to our nanny's visit our 11 month old son would wake 2-4 times a night and usually take up to an hour to resettle. We knew that he knew how to sleep as we had previously had some periods of very good sleep ad he was settling himself to sleep at nap/bed times. Our nanny arrived and straight away identified that he was not eating enough solid food during the day and was therefore waking out of hunger. We knew that his food intake was very low and we were actually due to see a pediatrician to investigate his eating habits. Our nanny developed a new eating and napping schedule for him and instructed us to follow it for a few days to establish if his eating would improve, we stopped all night feeds and followed the schedule. Within 3 days he was eating ten times more than he had ever eaten and was even using a spoon, something up until then he had always refused. The change in eating habits was also reflected in his sleep and he stopped waking in the night. He now goes for his naps and bedtime without any fuss, he will drink a full bottle of milk and has 3 large meals a day. He sleeps for 12 hours a night and if he does wake he will settle himself within seconds. For us, this makes a huge difference to our lives. We no longer go to bed each night in fear and we have even been able to leave him with a babysitter as we can be sure he will sleep. Our nanny was a lovely lady, she was very experienced, knowledgeable and professional. She gave us great advice and support while she was here and maintained contact throughout each day to support us in implementing the new routine. If we have another baby we will definitely be in touch!

  • Wow, I can not begin to express how thankful and grateful I am to our Maternity Nurse and the amazing start she gave our family. She met us at home when we were released from hospital, and as a first time mum I was understandably nervous and very tired - our maternity nurse immediately put me at ease and from that moment on created a peaceful, calm and safe space. I originally booked her for 2 weeks but by day 5 I had decided to extend to 4 weeks. Throughout the stay I had many comments from friends and family about how peaceful my son was and how they couldn’t believe that we were newborn parents as we all looked so relaxed. Every aspect of the stay was perfect - from learning how to become a ‘mum’, getting help with understanding babies cues, having someone to ask ALL the questions to and not having to rely on DR Google, keeping your sanity due to being able to get sleep, and just feeling like you have a really good friend in your home. Not only was she great with my son , she was amazing with me too - and I will look back very fondly of our nightly chats over dinner for years to come. It really was the most special four weeks. Our maternity nurse has been gone a week now - and I am so thankful for everything she did for us. Our son ( fingers crossed) is a great sleeper , a great feeder , he’s relaxed, happy and very content. I’ve recommended my maternity nurse to everyone I know and shouted about her from every rooftop . If I am lucky enough to have another baby, she will be my first phone call. Thank you for everything ❤️

  • We hired a night nanny this autumn and it was some of the best money we have ever spent. She came to our home when my daughter was one week old, and helped us 6 nights a week for two blissful months. As a second time mom I was smart enough this time to know, that you cannot put a price on good sleep. Our nanny helped me take care of my newborn at night, which gave me enough energy to take care of my newborn AND toddler during the day.I thought it would be weird having a stranger in our home, but after one night with our nanny I was completely at ease. She had a very calm demeanour and it was clear that she had my baby’s best interest in mind. My only regret is that I did not have the sense to book her for another month or two! My husband was especially grateful to her as he was only on the clock one night a week.Whether you are breastfeeding or bottle feeding, a night nanny will help you take great care of your child as well as yourself. Thank you Night Nannies for helping us find such a great person! I would happily recommend Night Nannies and would be lucky to have our nanny back in the future.

  • An excellent agency! Having struggled with a couple of unpleasant and untrustworthy maternity nurses, I was given Julie's (of Night Nannies) number.
To my amazement she had filled the role in less than twelve hours. It soon became clear that finally, we had secured a trustworthy, loyal and sincere nurse for a newborn baby.
Julie provided a truly excellent service and more importantly a truly excellent nurse!

  • Our nanny was wonderful. Reliable, gentle with Tom, knowledgeable, calm and I totally trusted her. On one occasion, she knew tom had a bad cold and she contacted me to see if she could help by doing an extra night for which I was incredibly grateful. I would not hesitate to use her again - a really lovely kind lady.

  • Night nannies found the perfect match… Night nannies found the perfect match for me and my baby. The person who came to help me with my newborn was so caring and so efficient and such an overall nice and intelligent and entertaining person, that those first days or rather weeks were some of the best in my life. She smoothed everything out, helping to create a routine adapted to me, helping us in every way really! I feel like I was able to appreciate to the full my new motherhood, and experience only positive moments!
