  • Our nanny joined our family to help take care of my newborn son. We were nervous and wanted somebody we could trust to help us. Our nanny was very patient and her gentle approach was so important for my recovery. She stayed with us for 3 months and became part of the family. She respected our space and time but was also excellent company especially when I was alone with a newborn. She has years of experience and was very good with my oldest child. She was super flexible and adapted to what we needed at the time we needed it. I highly recommend night nannies for find the right person to help you.

  • We had an excellent experience with the maternity nurse we found through night nannies. She worked with us in June and July 2019, starting when our son was 3 weeks old. We had planned to start with her a week after his expected due date but he was born 3 weeks earlier than expected and she was working with another family at the time. Nonetheless, she was able to make herself available to help us whenever she had free time on days off, and before that was always available for a call and on WhatsApp from as soon as we agreed to work together earlier in my pregnancy. She answered any questions we had about preparing for the baby, and gave great advice on what to buy and what was not essential at the time. She also helped us find the best deals and offers around. This was extremely helpful for us because we felt overwhelmed with preparations, especially when we knew he would arrive early, and were exhausted in the early days after the delivery. I don’t know what we would have done without her support and guidance in those early days. When she started full time with us she immediately brought structure and order. She advised us on how to better set up our son’s things, and gave us tons of other tips and tricks for managing everyday life with a baby. She was with us for events we were nervous about like his first bath, and came to hospital with us when he had to do a small surgical procedure. Having her with us in hospital was so comforting; she was supportive and reassuring, and kept us calm. She also spotted other issues early on, such as a thrush infection he had just as it was starting to appear, and always knew exactly what to do. If it were not for her his infection could gotten much worse. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had about caring for a newborn. She also introduced a routine early on which was essential in helping us get things on track and explained the idea behind the routine so we were able to adjust where necessary. We learned so much from her that we became so much more confident and comfortable.Breastfeeding was not easy for me and there were several points at which I felt I could not continue. Having her around helped in this challenging time. She helped me find the most comfortable positions for feeding and identify the reason for some issues we were having, such as incorrect latch. As a person, she is very considerate, calm, cheerful, positive and helpful. She is flexible and always trying to make things easier for us. My husband and I really enjoyed having her around. She was also easy to live with and very tidy. Most importantly, she was amazing with our baby. She was loving and warm, and had a great way with him; he absolutely loved her! We felt extremely confident in her ability to take care of him and comfortable leaving him alone with her from day 1. She still asks about him frequently and is always happy to answer any questions we have as he grows. Thanks to her, our first few weeks as parents were relaxed and enjoyable, and I would highly recommend her to any new parent.

  • Our nanny’s experience speaks for itself, she is so calm and really knows babies. Her advice is so helpful without being overbearing (as I had found with some other experts I had spoken too). I was hesitant to have a night nanny for a long time but I was a bit unwell and my son had been falling out of our normal routine. We had had a month of sleep regression behaviour, when he had been sleeping really well before. He was refusing the cot, only sleeping for 40 mins at a time and being fussy with the bottle. My son (who was 18weeks) immediately warmed to her. After just a few hours she suggested some small tweaks to our daily and nightly routine that changed everything. He was suddenly back in the cot with 3 night feeds and sleeping so well during the day. By the end of just a week our nanny had dropped a feed at night, I hope to keep on the same track without her.The thing I loved most about our nanny was her soft approach, we only had to make small changes a little at a time to see really great results. She also gave me so much advice for the future too as we start weaning. I can’t recommend her enough and look forward to having her in our home for support if we are lucky enough to have another child.

  • Couldn't recommend highly enough Our baby arrived 5 weeks premature, night nannies were absolutely fabulous at finding us the kindest most competent maternity nurses to suit our specific needs within 48 hours. The nurses we've had have been beyond brilliant and cared for our son as if he was their own whilst teaching us so much on the job. I felt so much more competent in such a short space of time practicing things like leaving the house, giving baby a bath etc.

  • Not only did our Night Nanny ensure that my husband and I had a blissful, uninterrupted night’s sleep but I was also so impressed by her wealth of knowledge and truly touched by the depth of care she showed towards my daughter - and, actually, to me and my own welfare.I have since told all my friends due to give birth that using Night Nannies is an absolute must. Honestly, why we waited till our daughter was six weeks old to use Night Nannies is not an error I will make next time round!

  • Our night nanny has been just the most wonderful and worthwhile investment in my second pregnancy/ postpartum journey. She is so kind, warm, caring and extremely knowledgeable about babies (she is also a paediatric nurse, which gave me such peace of mind!)and nothing was ever too much trouble. Extremely reliable, punctual and professional, she instantly bonded with my daughter and established a great routine, giving me some much needed time to myself and most importantly sleep! I could not recommend her more and just wish I had had her with my son!

  • We have (sadly) come to the end of our six weeks with Jackie Olara and wanted to let you know how utterly blown away we were by her. She is without a doubt one of the most professional, calming, funny and warm characters you can possibly hope to have around in the first few nights back from the hospital. She has implemented an outstanding routine which has been so effective in managing our son’s sleep and development. Her knowledge on what we should be doing and when was beyond extensive and there is no way I could be writing this email if and sitting on my laptop at 10.00pm at night if it wasn’t for the confidence she had given Jess in putting together the routine. You will without a doubt be getting a call from me about her when it’s time for our second and if anyone ever wants to contact me about her I’d be more than happy to chat through our brilliant experience. Big thanks to both of you for the recommendation and speak soon.
