  • Our nanny helped to sleep train my 20 month old son in July 2019. At the time, my son was being nursed to sleep and would wake up numerous times throughout the night, needing to be soothed back to sleep every time. Needless to say, it was tiring for us and him and I felt trapped into having to breastfeed or rock him just to get him to sleep. I was worried that this habit would continue for years if we didn’t put an end to it and that my son would have sleep issues if we didn’t sort it out soon. I just didn’t know how to do it myself.

When our nanny came to sleep train my son for 5 days she was absolutely wonderful. She came in and helped me to cut out the nighttime feed and instead replace it with a bedtime routine. She helped to train my son to go into his cot awake and sleep on his own. This, to me, has been a miracle and saviour that I thought we could never achieve. Not only is he going to sleep on his own, but he usually sleeps for 11 to 12 hours straight, and if he does wake up in the middle of the night, he cries for a few seconds or minutes and then is able to soothe himself and go back to sleep.

We are so grateful to our nanny who was so knowledgeable and kind in her approach, I highly, highly recommend her, she has really changed a huge part of our lives!

  • My daughter was still sleeping in my bed at the age of 18 months. I had tried several times to get her into her own room and in a cot. I failed every time and would sometimes spend 2.5 hours a night of trying to get a baby into a cot that she was having none of. Many months of no evenings to myself, being woken up several times in the night as the baby was in my bed and being back at work, there was no chance I was going to get the baby into a routine by myself. This just had to change. Vera came to my rescue and my life has completely changed in just a few days. I couldn’t believe how easily Vera got my daughter in her own room, in a cot and asleep within 5 mins so effortlessly on the first try. Amazing. Vera's calm and thoughtful approach for sleep training (after seeing how my daughters personality was) simply just worked. I cannot thank her enough. I have a happy baby who actually gets excited to get into her cot and sleeps right through till the morning, I have my evenings back and my bed!!!I would recommend Vera to anyone that has problems with their little ones sleep habits.

  • Miracle Worker Sleep Trainers I had a 10 month old baby girl who was fully breastfed, suffered from itchy eczema and allergies, wasn't sleeping through the night and couldn't self settle. To make it worse she was about to start nursery and I needed to go back to work. Our Night Nannies Sleep trainer helped us change our day time routine with her, stopped breast feeding and made sure she was eating right to ensure her sleep in the night. Now my baby daughter is sleeping from 7pm-7am, can be put to bed in her own cot (awake without me aiding her to sleep), she can self settle if she wakes up in the middle of the night and to top it off is finally taking the formula milk! How our Sleep Trainer managed to fix so many issues blew my mind. It's all about trusting in their process - it 10000% works! What's more our Sleep trainer was always on hand to help with our questions, check on our progress, was super responsive and knowledgeable about everything to do with babies, and always gave me the encouragement I needed to be strong and stick to the plan set in place. All of which has been invaluable as our baby settles into her new routine. My baby is also so much happier and more comfortable as a result of the changes she helped us make. I highly recommend the Night Nannies service - they gave me and my husband our lives back!

  • Vera came to us for two nights when our little girl had just turned 8 months old and had been going through a rough few weeks of sleep. Try as we might my husband and I couldn’t get to the bottom of what was going wrong - she had been a good sleeper from 5 to 7 months and then almost overnight she started to refuse to go down for her daytime naps and started waking and crying every ten to twenty minutes after we had put her down at 7pm, eventually settling at about 11pm. It felt like we were back with a new-born. I was lost without our routine and felt like our baby was asking for something different - but I didn’t know what! And then Vera arrived… and she was amazing! I was initially a little apprehensive about some of the suggestions Vera made but quickly realised that if I wasn’t committed to her advice then I would never know if it would work. Needless to say after following her suggested daytime routine within one night our daughter had dropped her dream feed, within two nights she slept soundly from 7pm to 6.30am, and by day three she was starting to self settle for her daytime naps. What a dramatic change in such a short space of time!Vera helped me to understand that our daughter no longer needed so much sleep during the day and so we cut down her day time naps, we have been giving her more water to quench her thirst and cutting down on her bottle feeds so that she is hungrier at mealtimes. Vera encouraged me to stay strong and remember that our daughter would be much more settled when I was clear with her about when she was going to sleep, when she was eating etc and making sure to stick with the routine for at least a couple of weeks until it had become second nature to our baby. We are just a week in but there is a great difference already to our family dynamic and my confidence as a Mum has returned.I would highly recommend Vera if you need any help with your baby’s sleep. She has a plethora of knowledge, is passionate about her work and looked after us and our baby incredibly well. She is a rare find!

  • The night nannies nanny came to help me when my daughter was born. She was incredibly helpful, and made my first days and weeks of being a mother thoroughly enjoyable, she helped me so much. She has a very pleasant personality, a good sense of humour, lots of empathy.. she loved the baby and was very caring of me as a mother too. She took initiative at times in an intelligent way, and after making sure I wanted her to, and she would explain things to me, and if, at times, I had an idea that was novel to her, she would inform herself, if necessary read up about it, and listen and give intelligent opinions. I enjoyed our conversations about babies, different routines, breastfeeding etc… She was very helpful throughout breastfeeding, and she was also, when, at times, I needed the baby to be given a bottle. She is a very organised person, and that was wonderful, because at the best of times I am not, and just after my first baby I felt at times a little lost. She tailor made a routine that worked wonderfully! She has great social skills and was liked by everyone in the family, including the dog. The memories of when my daughter was a tiny baby are beautiful and it is a lot thanks to the nanny. She was patient, caring, intelligent, organised, entertaining, and dynamic. I am so happy she was there for us at that time!

  • Night Nannies, we just wanted to thank you for introducing us to the Nannies that helped with Lily over the last 3 months. It was such a relief to know we could call you when we were struggling with the seemingly endless hours of the morning, and to have an experienced new born nanny arrive to help out was a blessing. All the night nannies were so gentle with Lily and so helpful to us, their tips and advice on feeding and settling helped us to feel more confident. To wake in the morning feeling rested helped enormously and we are so grateful. We would not hesitate to recommend you to other mothers and friends, we just regret we did not find you earlier. A massive thank you Night Nannies. Jules and Richard

  • Our nanny has been with us for three months. I immediately felt comfortable leaving her with our four-month-old baby. She was a caring, patient, and knowledgeable nanny. She listened to parents’ concerns, advised on matters mindful of not being intrusive, and helped us solving problems when needed (difficulties with bottle feeding, sleep and nap time management, and so on). I work from home and I always felt comfortable with her and free to spend time with the baby when I wished to. The baby seemed very happy and satisfied when with her. I would highly recommend her as a nanny, especially to new moms like me.

  • An excellent agency! Having struggled with a couple of unpleasant and untrustworthy maternity nurses, I was given Julie's (of Night Nannies) number.
To my amazement she had filled the role in less than twelve hours. It soon became clear that finally, we had secured a trustworthy, loyal and sincere nurse for a newborn baby.
Julie provided a truly excellent service and more importantly a truly excellent nurse!

  • When we engaged night nannies to help us at our lowest point with our newborn son who had very bad colic, they literally came to our rescue. Our night nanny was always punctual, professional and in these times of COVID-19 was always wearing the proper PPE and observed all the required social distancing rules etc. More than this she was a complete delight and handled every moment with us with ease and kindness. She also provided us with some great tips from her wealth of experience that with her calmness and some tweaks we implemented and got my son sleeping much better at night just from the few nights she was with us. We cant recommend night nannies highly enough from our experience.
