  • My review: I contacted night nannys after my second baby turned out not to be the best sleeper. Four months of broken sleep (and a busy toddler!) had left me on my knees with anxiety and insomnia. I needed help! A friend recommended the agency and when I spoke with Anastasia she was so kind and helpful and instead of providing me with a night nanny, she instead gave me expert advice on what my baby might need - a shorter term hire who would sort the problem of my daughter’s sleep permanently. She gave me my Guardian Angel - Vera Valtcheva. Vera joined us for four days to fix my daughter’s schedule. From day one I could have cried for joy. She got her from sleeping in our Snoo cot by my bed to sleeping in her own cot in her own room. After careful and expert observation of my little girl’s personality and development, Vera implemented a plan for her that meant she went from waking every two hours from 1am and using me as a human dummy to sleeping on her own and self-settling in her cot after two days. Vera brought the joy back in to our home by helping my little girl and getting me some more sleep. After day one my husband and I enjoyed cooking together and a whole evening together again for the first time in four months. She is with us until the end of the week and I don’t want her to go! She also teaches you how to enjoy the amazing time with your baby, giving you tips on toys and interactive play to help their development which in turn helps their sleep. But has the beautiful side effect of giving back to you the joy of a new baby - as the fog of tiredness clears and you can enjoy the glow of new motherhood confident you are doing the right thing for your child. No more insomnia for me! And looking forward to 8 hours unbroken sleep in the future! Vera is an expert, kind, patient and truly loves her job and the children she cares for. I couldn’t have asked for better help for me and my family.

  • Your night nanny was a wonder. She has an incredible intuitive sense with people but most importantly with babies too. She really observed our 9 month old Remy and within 24 hours had understood him acutely, which made me feel very relaxed in her hands. She also really listened to my needs as a mother, the fact that I struggle to listen to Remy cry and so did things in the way that worked for both Remy and I. His sleeping didn't finish perfectly (but I expressly said that I didn't need a 7am-7pm result out of it) but she got us to stop co sleeping with him. And she got him to sleep far better than he had been previously, and importantly gave us the tools and support to continue to improve his sleep. We may actually be getting her back, not because she wasn't brilliant but because we had to go away the day she left us which meant Remy regressed (do try and be at home for at least 2 weeks after training I'd say), and frankly also because I think having your night nanny around is good for our family! I cannot recommend night nannies enough.

  • Excellent Excellent - I needed a night nanny 2 x per week for 2 months to catch up on sleep. sometimes i needed them very last minute. Night nannies were always available to help me whether i made an enquiry in the day or close to the evening or on a weekend - they were very quick to reply with suggested nannies. All of our night nannies were really professional, kind, punctual and great with our baby. Would highly recommend night nannies and will use them again for sure.

  • Everyone needs a Mel when they have a new baby! From the moment Mel arrived she put our mind at ease that our little one would be in safe hands. She has a fountain of knowledge and experience. She helped us with a colic and reflux baby and also helped us get rid of the dummy. Our little one was not a good sleeper at first, but with Mels advice (which she’s happy to give or not give, depending on what you’re after) by 3 months she was sleeping through intermittently and by 4 months consistently! Mel is always punctual and flexible with timings and on the odd occasion she came earlier so we could have the evening off. I was sad to say goodbye to Mel and she will always be a blessing in our lives!

  • We had Faye join us for six weeks to help with our firstborn when she was just four weeks old. From the start, Faye was brilliant with both us and our daughter. She provided invaluable support in caring for the baby and allowed Mum to get much-needed rest. As first-time parents, we had lots of questions, and Faye was always reassuring, knowledgeable, and patient. She brought a calm and nurturing presence into our home, which made a huge difference during those early weeks. We would highly recommend Faye to any family and are already looking forward to having her back with us when our next child arrives. The entire booking process through Night Nannies was also very straightforward and easy to manage.

  • I contacted night nannies when my son was 3 months old. They immediately sent me details of two night nannies, and the one I decided on has been looking after our baby son overnight several nights a week for the past 3 months. When she first came to us, our son was only sleeping for 2 hours at a time, waking up angry, refusing to go back to sleep, and refusing to feed. He was tired and grumpy during the day, and cried every time we tried to put him down. She worked with us to establish a routine for him, along with good sleep associations, and within a week, he was sleeping for 5 hour stretches overnight! He is now 6 months and is sleeping through the night. She really went above and beyond, often what's apping me to ask me how the nights went when she wasn't there and giving useful advice about his day time naps and feeding schedule.
She is always punctual and professional, not to mention warm and personable. She immediately made me feel at ease, and my son loves her. I could not recommend my night nanny more highly, and have already made her promise to come back should I have more children.

  • When the night nanny came to our family we were in a desperate state. I was half crazed with sleep deprivation and my 6 month old was stuck in an overtired cycle of short naps and disrupted nights that we couldn’t get out of. I can’t believe that was just one week ago. Last night he slept 12 hours for the first time in his life, with just one feed. He’ll likely drop that soon as we further establish solids. And he now consistently gets proper naps as he has learned to connect sleep cycles. Gone are the hours of feeding and bouncing him to sleep. I now put him in his crib awake and he happily drifts off. The change is near miraculous. Our nanny was so knowledgeable and reassuring and lovely with the baby and with all of us. I needed a lot of support and hand holding and she helped me to keep the consistency that my baby needed. I wasn’t really sure about the process and I needed her professionalism and conviction to help me through it. I am gaining confidence but grateful to have her on text for reassurance and troubleshooting for two weeks. She wants to make sure he has really settled into his new routine before she leaves us.It is no exaggeration to say that she has restored happiness to this household. I fear I would have missed enjoying precious months of my baby’s development because I was so desperately exhausted and anxious. I already feel lighter and so excited again to be a mother. Thank you so so so much.

  • As new parents of week-old twins, I have to admit we were very apprehensive about leaving our little ones alone with anyone for the first time (they had been in our constant care in the hospital and at home since they were born). We could not have found anyone better for the job than our Night Nanny. Upon (quietly) walking through the door, she immediately engendered our trust and confidence by orienting herself quickly and efficiently in our home, identifying everything she needed to care for the children with the precision and calm of an individual who has the confidence and experience to look after newborns. We took note when she turned off the television and lowered the lighting so she could focus on our little girls. She was cheerful and very warm with our children and created a relaxing environment for them (and us), ensuring we were able to go to dinner in peace and get our first night of “real” sleep after the hospital stay. She recorded feeds and nappy changes in accordance with the precedent we had established and managed to set new feeding records for them overnight, all the while maximizing their sleep time. She even offered us some tips for settling them, which proved helpful as my wife and I are both learning the tricks of the trade at this stage. We would certainly seek Night Nannies out in the future whenever we need care for the twins – the peace of mind they provide has been invaluable during the first days of our early parenthood.
