  • I highly recommend the services of Night Nannies. Out of desperation one Friday night, I contacted 4 night nanny agencies via their websites. Night Nannies was the only one to respond by Saturday morning (only one more responded by Monday morning, and one responded a whole week later). Night Nannies gave us 2 CVs of highly experienced nannies to review. We interviewed and selected one, who turned out to be excellent. Not only was she skilled at caring for infants, she was warm and kind, and we felt that she genuinely cared about and took delight in our baby. By putting our trust in her and Night Nannies, we were rewarded with excellent care for the baby and several nights of badly-needed sleep for the parents.

  • Our nanny worked for us for four and half months, six days a week. She started when we bought our son Oscar hone from hospital at four days old until he was four and a half months old. Her tasks were feeding, changing, re settling and assisting with breastfeeding. Our nanny very quickly got Oscar sleeping very well. While my husband and I struggled to get him to sleep at first, as soon as she arrived at our home he was asleep within minutes using her expertise and sleep techniques. She taught us her techniques and gently led Oscar into a routine and soon we were able to get him to sleep ourselves. Oscar was able to self settle early on owing to her sleep training methods which meant my husband and I were able to have nights to ourselves as he slept soundly from 7pm.On her nights off when we looked after Oscar we found him very easy to settle in the middle of the night, waking up for feeds and then settling immediately again meaning our sleep had very little disturbance. Our nanny assisted with breastfeeding and night feeding both bringing Oscar to me for a breast feed and preparing bottles of expressed milk to give him through the night. She offered lots of assistance and advice with breastfeeding, particularly aiding when I had blocked milk ducts (making hot water bottles etc) and messaging me during the day to see if Oscar and I were ok. She also showed us how to use all the feeding equipment such as the breast pump and steriliser and washed and sterilised equipment for us.Before she started with us she sent lists of her recommended baby products and throughout her time with us always recommended what to buy and gave helpful advice on feeding, sleeping and washing items that we might need. When Oscar had vaccinations, conjunctivitis and cradle cap she offered advice on how to administer treatments and helped us in doing so. She also showed us how to bathe him the first time.As well as these duties, she frequently sent us text messages to ask how Oscar was especially if he’d been having issues (eg for a few weeks he hadn’t put on enough weight) and we very much appreciated her out-of-hours care. She was also flexible in staying late in the morning to help us feed and change Oscar when we were going away on holiday. Our nanny has a kind and calm attitude. We very much trusted her and had no worries about leaving him for the first time in her care while we went to the cinema.Oscar is a very happy and settled baby and it’s partly owing to his sleep routine.

  • Don’t even think about it, just book! Not only did our Night Nanny ensure that my husband and I had a blissful, uninterrupted night’s sleep but I was also so impressed by her wealth of knowledge and truly touched by the depth of care she showed towards my daughter - and, actually, to me and my own welfare.

I have since told all my friends due to give birth that using Night Nannies is an absolute must. Honestly, why we waited till our daughter was six weeks old to use Night Nannies is not an error I will make next time round!

  • Excellent Madinah was excellent - the purpose originally was for me to catch up on some sleep whilst my husband was away but it ended up being so much more valuable than that. Madinah was great with Isabelle from the beginning and I instantly felt relaxed leaving her with Madinah. However, she was also so patient with me and taught me so much in such a short space of time. As a first time mother I now feel so much more confident and in control as a mum and understand my baby and what she’s trying to communicate so much more. After a tough couple of weeks adjusting to life with a newborn we only wish we’d met her sooner as she really has made such a difference in only a few days. We’re so grateful to her!

  • Julia was absolutely wonderful. It was our first time away from our 4 month old baby and her experience, calm demeanour and her caring nature gave us great confidence. Julia was absolutely wonderful and we would recommend her to anyone.

  • Our nanny has been with us for three months. I immediately felt comfortable leaving her with our four-month-old baby. She was a caring, patient, and knowledgeable nanny. She listened to parents’ concerns, advised on matters mindful of not being intrusive, and helped us solving problems when needed (difficulties with bottle feeding, sleep and nap time management, and so on). I work from home and I always felt comfortable with her and free to spend time with the baby when I wished to. The baby seemed very happy and satisfied when with her. I would highly recommend her as a nanny, especially to new moms like me.

  • Our nanny was a breath of fresh air and incredibly generous with her time and advice. I had gotten my 7 month into bad nighttime habits of feeding and in the space of a few days she had worked her magic in an incredibly gentle manner and gotten my little one well on the way to sleeping through. Our nanny's bubbly energy was infectious and she made the entire household happier. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
