  • We cannot recommend night nannies… We cannot recommend night nannies highly enough. Our night nurse came to us when our little boy was 10 days old and, whilst we were pretty nervous at the thought of handing him over on that first night, we were put at ease as soon as she arrived. Her experience shone through and we knew instantly that he was in very good hands. She was able to understand what he needed at all times and he was so happy in her care. She was able to guide us with regards to a routine, we were able to consult her whenever we had any questions and she also helped us diagnose a tongue tie and an intolerance.

  • Completely delighted with the service Completely delighted with the service from Night Nannies. I called at my wits' end when our baby girl was four months old and I was suffering from acute postpartum insomnia. They were warm and empathetic and quickly found us a lovely nanny. I felt at ease from the moment she arrived at our house and quickly looked forward to seeing her on the evenings she was coming over to help. She was not only loving and confident with our baby – I immediately felt entirely happy to leave her to look after her, which is not always easy for a first-time mum! – but also helped us implement invaluable changes to our routine and approach to sleep that took us from broken nights to everyone sleeping through the night in only a few weeks! We can’t recommend them enough.

  • Nana came to us as a night nanny when our baby was 10 days old. Initially doing 3 nights a week for 3 weeks but we ended up keeping her for 12 weeks she was so wonderful! Above everything she evidently loves babies and that as well as being a midwife and her calm confidence meant we felt entirely happy to leave our baby with her from the start to get precious sleep, and later on also if we wanted to go out for dinner etc first. She was so reassuring especially for a first time mum and has a lot of experience from other midwifery and nannying - our baby had very bad colic and she never stopped smiling even when he had been a terror! If we have another baby, Nana will be first on my list to call to see if she can come help again! Thank you nightnannies

  • My 9-month-old baby boy had some problems with sleeping so I ended up calling to Night Nannies in order to get a good sleep trainer. Before the training we co-slept with the baby and he woke up every 3-2 hours and only way to put him back to sleep was to nurse him. I was so tired and needed some help to make him sleep better. In 5 nights the sleep trainer managed to make him sleep through the night in his own cot. If he wakes up, he can go back to sleep alone in couple of minutes if he is not hungry. But I have to feed him maximum once in the night (12 hours) which is amazing! The nanny stayed with him during the first nights and did not leave him to cry it out. She stroke his head and made sure everything is ok. I would definitely ask the nanny come again if I needed help with my baby.

  • As new parents of week-old twins, I have to admit we were very apprehensive about leaving our little ones alone with anyone for the first time (they had been in our constant care in the hospital and at home since they were born). We could not have found anyone better for the job than our Night Nanny. Upon (quietly) walking through the door, she immediately engendered our trust and confidence by orienting herself quickly and efficiently in our home, identifying everything she needed to care for the children with the precision and calm of an individual who has the confidence and experience to look after newborns. We took note when she turned off the television and lowered the lighting so she could focus on our little girls. She was cheerful and very warm with our children and created a relaxing environment for them (and us), ensuring we were able to go to dinner in peace and get our first night of “real” sleep after the hospital stay. She recorded feeds and nappy changes in accordance with the precedent we had established and managed to set new feeding records for them overnight, all the while maximizing their sleep time. She even offered us some tips for settling them, which proved helpful as my wife and I are both learning the tricks of the trade at this stage. We would certainly seek Night Nannies out in the future whenever we need care for the twins – the peace of mind they provide has been invaluable during the first days of our early parenthood.

  • Maternity leave super hero I can’t thank Night Nannies enough for introducing us to L. She worked as our night nanny from the start of August 2023 for 12 weeks. L was incredible. I was so anxious when she started. It’s a huge deal to handover the care of the most precious tiny being to someone you don’t know. L was so reassuring and patient with me while I learned to accept help from others. L has a calm and unobtrusive manner. She is so gentle with babies, a real baby-whisperer. My husband and I would always look forward to a “nanny night” knowing we would be able to rest properly and ask all the little questions that were bothering us. We were helped to establish a night routine from the very start. As a result our little girl slept through the night from about 14 weeks - getting good rest is such a game changer when you are a first time parent. L helped us establish a good daytime napping routine too, and taught us how to be flexible with daytime sleep rather than rigid. We had initially planned to have L help us for 6 weeks but she was so great we continued for 12 weeks! I can’t thank her enough for her support and encouragement. No matter if she arrived to find me beaming or sobbing, she was completely unflappable and always so supportive. Using Night Nannies was a complete game changer and anyone considering using them definitely should.

  • Another incredibly positive experience: a very experienced super nanny came to help us bottle train and sleep train our (almost) 5 month old son, with superb results. Her gentle and highly effective approach prompted no end of smiles and giggles from our baby - he enjoyed her visits as much as we did. She trained us well to break our bad habits and continue the good routine going forward, which has been working so far. She fitted in with our timetable and was available on the phone/via text message to help troubleshoot and give advice when needed. Parents and baby are all happier as a result of her help! I’d highly recommend the Night Nannies agency to anyone.

  • I just wanted to write to let you know how helpful Sanyu was for us over the last fortnight. She was an utter blessing. Sanyu has a lovely calm, gentle and polite manner about her and it is clear that she loves babies and is very natural with them. She was very punctual and helpful and went out of her way to help me get some things when I ran out and hadnt been organised to get them (nappies, formula) which she didnt need to do but which was hugely appreciated. Sanyu gave me more sleep at a time I really needed it and even my sceptical husband was won over and gratefully welcomed those extra hours. She was careful to ask what routine and also offered very useful advice when i asked for it. Sanyu also was very sweet with our daughter in the mornings. In short, we would wholeheartedly recommend Sanyu to anyone else looking for a little relief and assistance at night!
