  • Very excellent maternity nurse who… Very excellent maternity nurse who assisted with our newborn son. Confident, experienced and relaxed. Highly recommend.

  • Given our daughter was born premature, we were looking for a night maternity nurse knowing how critical yet difficult the feeding was likely to be. After interviewing a few candidates we decided to go with one of your nannies. It can be difficult to make a decision on the basis of a relatively short meeting, but thankfully we made the right choice – she has been amazing.
Our nanny initially spent a week with us as a day nurse the very first week we were back from hospital. She truly was a life-saver since we had no idea how challenging it would be with a premature baby, when we were effectively having to re-learn the basics of feeding, changing, etc. from scratch. She went on a mission to ensure that she was feeding well and putting on weight as desired. I’ve never seen anyone get quite so excited when our daughter met her target weight during her check-up with the health visitor! She also provided a lot of reassurance and stability to our home – much needed in those early days.
A few weeks later our nanny returned to help us with the nights. Thankfully she was already familiar with our daughter and was able to completely put us at ease, ensuring that we were able to get a few hours of much needed sleep! Perhaps most importantly, she developed an immediate and special bond with our daughter. In addition she is a pleasure to be around and we had a lot of laughs. She was also able to provide some useful tips/advice for our 20 month old, who can be quite a handful at times!
In sum she is a great maternity nurse and we have no reservation in recommending her – any family would be fortunate to be able to secure her for a position.

  • Our nanny came to stay with me for two weeks straight after the birth of my son. I’m so glad I arranged for her to come and stay. I had my son on my own and was also completely scared and clueless about how to look after a baby. She showed me how to do everything and took care of both of us so that I could recover from my Caesarian. She came with me to my mid wife appointments and also to visit my mum in the nursing home. Honestly, I would have been lost without her and I can’t thank her enough! And my son absolutely loves her.

  • I can not recommend night Nannies (and particularly the nanny that helped me) highly enough. She helped me for 3 months with my newborn. She is very knowledgable and provided invaluable advice on many topics ranging from breastfeeding to how to help the baby when he has a cold. I also liked that I didn’t feel she was ‘clock watching’ and would always make sure the baby was ok and fed before leaving in the mornings. I don’t know what we would have done without her. We miss her - thank you Night Nannies!

  • Our nanny came to help us with our 15-month-old daughter, who was waking between 6 and 8 times a night, was often wide awake between midnight and 2am, could only be resettled with milk, and was ending up in bed with us every night. The process was very gentle but had a clear effect as early as the second night, and, a week later, we have had our first experience of sleeping through the night – 11 hours without so much as a whimper!! We really wouldn’t have believed it possible! Not only that but we have entirely eliminated the need for a dummy, without which she hadn’t been able to sleep since about 4 months of age.Our nanny was incredibly kind, empathetic and reassuring, but above all it is the results that have been truly amazing! We would recommend her to anyone and everyone who is struggling with their nights.

  • We contacted the agency because our seven month old baby girl did not nap during the day. Before supernanny came, the baby was a good sleeper at night, but refused to sleep during the day and we had to go outside and walk her in the pram every time we wanted to her to nap. We knew that wasn't the right way, but we had tried a few times to put her in the crib and she would cry for over an hour till we picked her up again. When supernanny came and observed our daily routine with baby she quickly suggested us to change a few things, starting with the time baby woke up in the morning as well as the feeding schedule. Supernanny explained to us that a baby her age had to nap twice a day for total of 3h (before did nap only in the pram for about 2h total a day) and go to bed at night no later than 7.30pm (before we would put her to sleep at 9.30pm till 8am the next day).Supernanny stayed with us for four days and started to change things at the first day. Of course, baby refused to nap during the day during the first days but she cried no more than 25minutes the first day and it was less and less the days after. Two weeks later, I can finally say that baby no longer cries when we put her in the crib for napping during the day and it is PRICELESS. I was sceptical at first of all changes that Supernanny was implementing but we decided to give it a chance and now I'm finally convinced. Called this agency has been such a good investment and now we feel confident of what we have to do to make baby feel better and rested. In addition to the sleeping issues, supernanny made us understand that we had to change a few things in baby's feeding schedule so sleeping routine could work, which we did.I am also grateful for how supernanny showed us how to get rid of the dummy. I have to say that looking back now, we were probably using it too much, specifically to calm baby down (I think this also had to do with baby not sleeping properly so was more fussy all the time). Thanks for your help!

  • Nana came to us as a night nanny when our baby was 10 days old. Initially doing 3 nights a week for 3 weeks but we ended up keeping her for 12 weeks she was so wonderful! Above everything she evidently loves babies and that as well as being a midwife and her calm confidence meant we felt entirely happy to leave our baby with her from the start to get precious sleep, and later on also if we wanted to go out for dinner etc first. She was so reassuring especially for a first time mum and has a lot of experience from other midwifery and nannying - our baby had very bad colic and she never stopped smiling even when he had been a terror! If we have another baby, Nana will be first on my list to call to see if she can come help again! Thank you nightnannies

  • Second time using night nannies to find… Second time using night nannies to find me a maternity nurse for my newborn. Excellent service and they matched me with an incredible nanny who not only took good care of my son, putting him in an excellent routine early doors, but also took great care of me, allowing me to recover physically and mentally quicker than I otherwise would.
